ABOUT ABOUT

Charette: A collaborative session in which issues related to programs and projects are discussed and potential solutions considered.

The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau invites you to share your ideas, thoughts, and insights about our Diversity Equity and Inclusion efforts and the impact on the communities of Boston — through a hospitality and tourism lens.

The charette will generate greater public awareness of GBCVB’s DEI initiative and enable the organization to create greater equity by developing more inclusive economic development strategies that enrich the communities it serves throughout Boston.

  2. How should tourism work in your communities?
  3. How should the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau engage communities?

  6. What is the current employment picture in your communities? Do barriers to employment exist?
  7. Is tourism an opportunity to create new jobs?
  8. What are the other economic development opportunities?
  9. What new businesses could be created?
  10. How can community-based businesses and organizations support the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives?
